Session 6 — 2026-05-16

Diderius's bedroom and resting place; Diderius grants a boon and points to Varram.

Summary

Bedroom: glowing purple/grey creatures attacked. Chest: 7 silk robes (~50 gp each), 2 Protection from Energy scrolls, amethyst ring = Ring of Poison Resistance (to Kiviak). Divination books in Netherese (see Netheril) into the bag of holding. Barnacas began copying Protection from Energy (2/6 h). Long rest, door blocked with the immovable rod.

Resting place (pool room's north doors): sarcophagus on 20-ft dais; frescoes with derivations of Amaunator and Chauntea. Diderius spoke: "I know what you seek" — the Yuan-ti took Varram beyond the portal in the north wall. Granted a boon: two bone scroll tubes (Greater Invisibility, 6th-level Ice Storm). Secret door → lizardfolk, killed. Zeiria left a flower in thanks.

Bridge: stairs down 40 ft to a bridge; more enemies killed.
